Dear Birth Parent(s):

Even though we have never met, we want you to know that we have been praying for you and the decisions you are facing.  We are so excited and truly honored that you would consider us to love and care for your precious little one!  Since we have been through the adoption process before, we know that those decisions are very difficult and very important to you and that you love your baby very much.  We are anxious to grow our family and to share our love with another child.

Both of us were raised in stable, loving Christian homes and we have similar backgrounds even though we were raised in different states.  We were introduced by a mutual friend and dated six months before we married in 2002.  We have had a strong marriage with opportunities to travel together and share many wonderful experiences.  After trying for four years to conceive a child, we decided that adoption was the path God was leading us to take to start our family.  In April 2008, we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy through adoption.  We named him Gracen.  We currently have an open adoption with Gracen's birth family which allows us to maintain contact and provide insight into his development and growth through the years.  We are looking forward to having the same degree of openness with our second adoption.

Both of our jobs allow us to have flexible work schedules and be at home to care for our children and provide a stable environment for their upbringing.  We both were able to grow up with our parents around a significant amount of time.  We know how important that was to us and we want to provide that same environment for our children.  However, we believe the most important thing we can give a child is an opportunity to know God and develop a personal relationship with Him.  We are very involved in our church and with the young families and college ministry.  God continues to bless our lives richly and we pray he will bless yours richly as well!

We know there are a lot of emotions involved in adoption and we will continue to pray for you and your baby.  Deciding what is best for you and your baby is a huge decision and we hope our profile will give you a glimpse into our lives and help you make the best possible decision.  Feel free to contact us at 1-866-474-4177 or by email at prayingforachild@gmail.com.  You may also contact our caseworker, Christine Crabb at 1-800-988-0600.

May God bless you and guide you,

Tim and Lauri
