My 30th Adoption Anniversary is coming up in September. I wanted to write and personally thank Colorado Christian Services for assisting in my placement.

Thirty years ago my birth mother placed me at CCS. She knew that I was in need of a better situation. At the same time my parents had talked with Colorado Christian Services about adoption. Soon, God, through Colorado Christian Services, put me in the hands of my parents.

It was a quick adoption and even quicker acceptance into my new family. From that point on I was surrounded by love and support. My life today would not be anywhere near what I have if I had not been adopted. I truly have been blessed and have been able to praise adoption to anyone inquiring.

Today, I have a wonderful set of parents and have also met my birth mother. I have a half sister who I love and adore. So if you like to hear success stories – I truly am one.

Thank you Colorado Christian Services for providing a foundation that serves Christian families in placement. I forever am thankful.

Rachel

In August of 2005, Rachel of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and Sarah of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, headed to Lubbock, Texas to begin the AIM (Adventures in Missions) program.

The girls hardly knew each other when they went to Lubbock, but in December, the girls both learned that they both were being sent to Durres, Albania with 2 other girls. One evening the subject of adoption came up and the girls both shared that each of them had been adopted. Upon more discussion they discovered that both of them had been adopted from Colorado Christian Services 18 years ago. The excitement was overwhelming to realize what God had done with 2 baby girls. Who would have imagined that these girls’ paths would cross doing mission work on the same field now 19 years later?

One May 17, Rachel and Sarah left for Durres, Albania where they will be teaching the gospel. Praise God for the awesome plans He has for the babies of Colorado Christian Services!
